The artist was already fascinated during her youngest years by creative painting, being influenced by forms as well as by the colors.

She put her artistic gift partly aside for some time to concentrate on her profession …

Her desire to paint and her intuition encouraged her to develop her painting on a self-taught basis. Her talent and inspiration led her to find her personal style with strong expressive forms.

After working with different techniques, Lucienne AMAN decided to attend watercolor classes with different renowned watercolorists, to finally find her own path.

Beyond the fluidity of the watercolor, she manages to have forms emerging on the papers still in the state of outlines, only suggested, like coming out directly of the initial chaos and being delicately applied on the paper.

This watercolorist leaves the water flow and the colors mix with a controlled liberty, creating spontaneous colors effects among the blue, yellow, red and sometimes green.

In filigree, in the middle of the color spots are emerging landscapes, flower bunches, still lives …

The unity of tint through various subjects favors as well an astonishing unity of style.
